Vice President
Vice President Leo McGarry may be considered a "world class political mind" by the most powerful people in the government, past and future, but he came from humble beginnings. The son of a homemaker and a businessman, Leo McGarry endured an alcoholic father for most of his childhood until the man committed suicide while intoxicated. He went to fight in the Vietnam (in which he flew an Air Force F-105. One mission he was part of was famously called "Rolling Thunder" in 1966 as part of the 355th Tactical Fighter Wing) and Korean wars (which he served mostly as an adviser). Coming home after the first to a wife and child (daughter Mallory Camron. Married to Secret Service Agent Mark Camron) Married for over thirty years, he divorced his wife, Jenny, after giving every fiber of his being to his friend Jed Bartlet to run his campaign, then White House. He has been said to be the voice and brains behind the entire administration. He went on to be named as Matthew Santos's running mate for the Democratic ticket and won by a landslide. He currently serves his country as Vice President. He married a woman younger than his daughter, named Annabeth Schott. They currently have three children together (Twins Mickey and Tommy, 2. Daughter Janet Elizabeth, nearly 1). The McGarry family currently reside in Washington, DC. |
